In running this respected subsidiary, which averaged $7 - $10 million in sales each year, he found himself embroiled in every aspect of new home construction, from finding appropriate land for building sites, designing and redesigning homes, to hiring and supervising subcontractors, and employing project controls to ensure quality.

In 1991, Jim Slesser started JDS Homes. The first large project was the Courtyards of Hinsdale. The designs found great acceptance. In addition to being a success with the home-buying public, it also received a Gold Key award from the Home Builder Association of Greater Chicago and was featured in Builder Magazine.

Keith Zagroab has been Field Supervisor since 1994. Keith is very hands on and visits every construction site daily to monitor progress. Keith also directs all construction operations and assists in decision making with our customers.
